A nutritional therapist uses a wide range of tools to evaluate the health of a patient, then provides advice on the lifestyle, dietary and nutritional practices required to maintain good health, reduce the risk of disease and help address chronic conditions. Each approach is underpinned by the recognition that every person is unique and therefore recommendations are personally tailored.

The aim is to treat the whole person in preference to a series of symptoms and to establish the causes of health problems and introduce a gentle programme of self healing.

It’s important to remember that nutritional therapy is not intended as a substitute for medical advice and if a practitioner identifies any 'red flag' symptoms indicative of a serious health issue, they will refer clients on to an appropriate medical professional.

Who would benefit from nutritional advice?

Anyone one who desires improved and optimal health. Optimal health takes a person beyond struggling with chronic problems into a state of well being which may include high levels of energy, clear glowing complexion, bright eyes, a positive outlook on life, good memory and much more.
